więcej »On February 24, on the anniversary of the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, we decided to pay tribute to the heroism of Ukrainians and emphasize our solidarity with a country that continues its brave fight by organizing an online seminar on the economic and social consequences of the war.
During the event, issues concerning the impact of the military conflict in Ukraine on the economic situation of Ukraine, the world, social and political changes and the consequences for international relations were discussed. Among the invited experts were representatives of universities from Kharkiv and New York: Dr Tetyana Lepeyko, Dr Andrii Kotlyk from Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Dr Matthew G. Nagler from the City Collage of New York, employees of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management, NCU: Dr Małgorzata Szczepaniak and dr hab. Michał Moszyński, prof. NCU (Department of Economics) and Tatiana Dębska, President of the Good for Good Foundation, organizer of the help point for Ukraine in Toruń.
The event was hosted by Dr Aranka Ignasiak-Szulc, Vice-Dean for International Relations and Development and Director of the Centre for Central and Eastern European Studies.

Centre of Central and Eastern Europe Studies of NCU would like to kindly invite for the next lecture in the series of the open lectures entitled ”Innovation Performance and the Development Potential of Innovation Clusters at the Level of Lagging-behind Regions in Central and Eastern Europe” that will be presented by Prof. Cristina GĂNESCU, Dean of Faculty of Finance and Accounting of Constantin Brâncoveanu University in Pitesti (Romania). During lecture the results of the project „Smart specialization in lagging behind regions in Central and Eastern Europe” (PN-IIIP1-1.1-TE-2016-1630) elaborated with Cristina ȘERBĂNICĂ, Sebastian ENE and Iuliana TALMACIU will be presented.
